I heard its 290HP but is it the same VQ35DE engine?

A: vs what? riding around on your bike? I drove around a '79 volvo with different color doors than the rest of the body from high school to college. It was bad ass. I mounted an oscillating fan on the dashboard cause it had no A/C. It got me from point A to B. I never complained once and neither did any of my dates cause I had money in my pocket plus I'd point the fan on them if they were hot.

I'm 16 and I finally decided what car I'm getting after long debating. I am getting a brand new 2009 Nissan Maxima in Super Black. I need help with what interior I want. I don't know if I should get black interior because it's neat there's red stitching in the seats to give it a sporty feel. Another choice is Gray which is lighter and wouldn't draw as much heat in San Antonio,TX. What would you choose? A: Save your money and buy a charger R/T with the road and track package. Find one a year old and certified. This car will not only look better and be more reliable. It will also blow the doors off of the Maxima. masstex8 You obviously havent done the research. If you check you will find that the Charger is one of the most trouble free cars on the road. The maxima has suffered in sales the last few years because of issues related to recall and genrally over priced and poor performance.

A: After combing the internet off and on for several weeks, it doesn't appear that anyone has gotten any photos yet. It has been rumored that Nissan will unveil the 2009 Maxima during the beginning of the 2008 calendar year, but this unconfirmed by Nissan. Be on the lookout at larger auto shows (such as the North American International Auto Show in Detroit) for the first showing.

A: The new 2009 Nissan Maxima costs $29,290 Base and $38,820 top of the line, fully loaded. Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). Fully loaded they come with Power windows, power mirrors, 8-way power driver’s seat with power lumbar support, 4-way power front-passenger’s seat, and a power rear sunshade. They also have heated leather seats, heated outside mirrors and heated leather steering wheel. They also come with a dual sunroof, HomeLink Universal Transceiver, Navigation system with touchscreen, Bluetooth and a 9.3 GB Music Box hard drive and CompactFlash for playing MP3/WMA files. They come with a 3.5 liter V6 engine with 290hp and 261 lb-ft of torque. They also have push button ignition and pass-key which allows you to enter the car and start the car without ever using the key or even taking the keys out of your pocket, purse or briefcase. The fully loaded 2009 Nissan Maxima also has a RearView Monitor which is a camera on the back of the vehicle fed through the navigation screen. This camera turns on when the car is put in reverse. All of the front and back windows have auto one-touch up and down with a safety feature that stops the window if anything is caught in it. The drivers seat, outside mirror and steering wheel have 2 memory controls so husband and wife can have their own settings for their paticualr height and preferances. A: yeah that's unique alright but I bet they cost like $800 to replace that would be the horrible part. I had a Honda that had the disappearing or pop up headlights. a few cars had them, you would always see a car that had one up and one down as the motors would burn out. the 1965 Buick Riviera had covers that would open and close like eyelids. Patrick Swayze's character James Dalton buys one in the movie Road House (1989).

They don't have information on the Nissan website yet so I was just wondering if anyone has heard any rumors. Nissan says they are going to release them in June 2008 which is next month but I just want to know all the information available now. I have always been a fan of the Maxima and LOVE the new model. I plan to buy one but want to know how much they are going to cost. I assume they will be more expensive than the 2008 model. Any information is appreciated. Thanks!

A: Maxima moves more up scale so prices will move also. Inflation is happening so the sooner you purchase one the better. But how are we going to put in $5 a gallon gasoline? remember Maxima uses premium fuel. nissanUSA.com
